Val Broeksmit, 46, was found dead on Woodrow Wilson High School campus at 4500 Multnomah Street on Monday. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office said Brooksmith was pronounced dead at 7 a.m., according to Sergeant Rudy Perez of the Los Angeles School Police Department. He had disappeared last year and the Los Angeles Police Department said he was last seen on April 6, 2021. Although he was physically missing, his Twitter account remained active. Posted a new profile photo on April 5th. Journalist Scott Stedman, who works for Forensic News, confirmed Broeksmit’s death in a tweet. He wrote: “My friend Val Broeksmit was found dead today. He was 46 years old. He gave me and other journalists Deutsche Bank documents that highlighted the bank’s deep relationship with Russia. It’s very sad. I do not suspect a foul. “Val was fighting drugs and he’s going out.” He added in another tweet that “I had not spoken to Val since January and many more months ago. I wish I had. “ Los Angeles Police Chief Kenneth Canberra also reportedly told the Los Angeles Times that authorities did not suspect offensive games. In 2019, Broeksmit handed over hundreds of documents to the FBI, left behind by Bill Broeksmit’s father, while investigating the relationship between Deutsche Bank and the former president. Mr Stedman also reviewed the whistleblower’s past and wrote: “Val’s father committed suicide in 2014 and consumed Val in recent years. “Seeing his life end so soon is incredibly depressing.” David Enrich, author of Dark Towers: Deutsche Bank, Donald Trump and an Epic Trail of Destruction, wrote: “Val was a long-time source for me and the main character of my book. “We had a complicated relationship, but that’s just disastrous to hear.” Born in Ukraine and adopted by Bill Broeksmit, Val Broeksmit had a history of opioid abuse. Mr Stedman wrote on Twitter: “I do not suspect he is committing a foul.”
