RCMP says two vehicles collided head-on on Beaver Bank Street near Welkin Drive at about 11:30 p.m. A Ford F-150 carrying a fuel tank to the truck bed and a Hyundai Elantra were traveling in opposite directions when they collided. When police arrived at the scene, the truck was engulfed in flames. The passenger of the truck, a 22-year-old from Beaver Bank, was transported by helicopter to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the truck, a 21-year-old from Windsor Junction, and the driver of the car, a 20-year-old from Beaver Bank, were seriously injured and taken to hospital by ambulance. The RCMP reports that an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
