Richard Eden, editor of the Daily Mail, claims that the royal couple should “stay away” from the Jubillee to avoid being distracted by the queen. He told the Mail Confidential Mail show: “I’m really impressed that Harry and Megan love all the speculation about whether they will come for the Jubilee or not. What should be the wonderful celebrations of the Queen’s amazing long reign. “On the contrary, is something like this happening, or will they-not-come?” Richard Kay, editor of the Daily Mail in Large, added that it was “tragic” that the Queen was facing “bitter” quarrels with her own grandchildren. He said: “I think it’s tragic for her. The last thing she wants is these constant, bitter quarrels with her grandchildren and family. “They had so many problems in the 1990s that they hoped they had left behind, but this is somehow even worse and it must be extremely difficult for her and quite desperate.”
