On April 26, two Roseville police officers responded to a car accident on Groesbeck Highway between 12 Mile and Martin Roads. A man from Roseville, identified as Frank Robles, 57, was traveling south on Groesbeck Highway in a Chevy Silverado when he crossed into traffic and crashed almost head-on into a pickup truck. Officials say the male police officer began to walk away from Robles, but Robles continued to walk towards him. The male police officer then shot Robles several times, who then fell to the ground. Officials say a total of nine shots were fired by the male police officer alone. Robles was reportedly hit by bullets several times and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
