The NYPD published a photo of the four men who want to interrogate after the shooting on Wednesday afternoon on 188th Street. You can clearly see one of them with a shotgun. Two 18-year-olds were injured, one of whom was the obvious target. A 14-year-old girl who was also caught in the fire had a bullet in her throat. The NYPD is holding a meeting Saturday with their leaders to talk about the fight against crime, with an unusual element. “These criminal plans, what their ideas are, they are specific to each neighborhood, what gangs are at odds with each other, what is going on, what high school parties are going to take place. We need to know these things as we go along. So I think this is “What’s unusual here is that the mayor will chair it,” said Robert Boyce, an ABC News associate and former NYPD chief detective. Meanwhile, students at Francis Lewis High School had to go through metal detectors on Thursday. Two of the victims went to school there. Police found no weapons, but found 20 weapons or prohibited items seized by students. School security agents say they believe the students brought these items for safety after learning that two of their classmates had been shot.
