The teacher was put on leave
Three Mile Plains District School caters for students from preschool to 5th grade. A spokesman for the Annapolis Valley Regional Training Center said the teacher was on leave. Kristen Loyst said the center takes the situation very seriously and is cooperating with the RCMP investigation, but will not comment further while the matter is before the courts. “The school’s priority continues to be the safety and well-being of students,” she said in an email. “The school communicates with families and staff is focused on supporting students. A school counselor is available for students who may need additional support.”
