Police’s media liaison officer Scott Tracey said emergency services were called to Yarmouth Street shortly before noon for a report of a man found on the street with “obvious injuries”. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Yarmouth Street closed for investigation Wednesday afternoon. Just before 7 p.m. police issued a statement saying they did not suspect it was a bad game for the man’s death. Police said there were several people in the area who spotted the injured man.
