By Nigel Maxwell Crime April 28, 2022 2:29 p.m. Nearly four months after a man was attacked during a house party, Prince Albert’s police made an arrest. A 21-year-old man faces the charge of second-degree murder for the death of 20-year-old Alex Whitehead. The accused will make his first appearance in court on Friday and his name can not be made public until then. Whitehead died at the hospital on New Year’s Day after initially being found in a downtown residence suffering from life-threatening injuries. According to a police statement at the time, police responded shortly before 4 a.m., following a complaint of gunfire.
