Roach has now won a total of US $ 396,182.
She got the game’s first question, ran the table on a set of botany-related questions, and bet big on a Daily Double in the second round that won her $ 8,000.
But she missed a question – as did her opponents – about Canadian musician Neil Young.
While Roach was ahead for most of the game, it ended up winning just $ 1 after its nearest competitor went to the Final Jeopardy with exactly half the total. They both got the last question right.
At the beginning of the episode, host Ken Jennings noted that the iconic game series had only seen seven winning 16-game series before Roach’s ongoing series.
