More big increases in fuel prices across the province this morning. The PUB has increased the regulated price of most fuels, in some cases by a significant amount. Gasoline is up 8.2 cents a liter, while diesel on the island is up 30.1 cents and Labrador diesel is up almost 20.9 cents a liter. Baking oil increased by 26.16 cents per liter. Stove oil on the island rose by 27.05 cents and in Labrador rose by 18.17. Prices changed again today to reflect the increase in the reference price for gasoline, which rose by 7.08 cents on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
