We track every first round before the NFL 2022 draft, from almost two years ago to the first night of the draft. Each of them plays an integral role in telling the full story of the NFL draft. Here are all the latest bids for the Day 1 pick from August 2020, when the Seattle Seahawks traded two first-round pick with the New York Jets for the safety of Pro Bowl Jamal Adams. The second of these options is this year’s No. 10 of the overall selection, giving the Jets two options in the top 10. Their Gotham cohort, the New York Giants, also have two top-10 picks, in part in exchange for their first day of draft last year with the Chicago Bears, which allowed the Bears to select General Justin Fields. Fields is not the only general to have influenced this year’s trade order plan, as deals with Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Trey Lance, Carson Wentz and recent Super Bowl champion Matthew Stafford affected the first round. These are the trades that took place on Thursday, starting with the most recent: Date: April 28, 2022 The Texans traded their second-round pick (No. 13) to the Philadelphia Eagles for the Eagles’ first-round pick (No. 15) along with a fourth-round pick (No. 124) and two fifth-rounds (No. 12). 162 and 166). The Eagles first acquired No. 16 from the Indianapolis Colts last year in exchange for General Carson Wentz and were sent to the Commanders for No. 11 on Thursday.

Date: March 23, 2022 The Miami Dolphins made another big move for a playmaker, exchanging five draft options with the Kansas City Chiefs for big game receiver Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins sent the Chiefs a first (No. 29), second (No. 50) and fourth round (No. 121) this year and their options for the fourth and sixth rounds in 2023. The choice of the first round was was originally traded to the Dolphins by the San Francisco 49ers last year as part of the Trey Lance trade. Date: March 18, 2022 The Cleveland Browns paid a high price to acquire a quarterback star, exchanging first-round options in 2022, 2023 and 2024, along with a third-round option in 2023 and a fourth-round option in 2024, in Houston Texas in exchange for General Deshaun Wats a choice in the fifth round in 2024. Date: February 18, 2021 The Pularades traded a third-round pick in 2021 and a conditional second-round pick in 2022 to the Eagles for General Carson Wentz.
